We also offer repair and duplication services for various exterior items such as broken gates and fences.
We repair them using a method called reverse engineering, which uses 3D scanning technology.
Reverse engineering creates a 3D model without producing a 3D CAD file, significantly shortening the design process, reducing costs, and shortening the time to market. ( What is reverse engineering ?)
Restoration of exterior facade reliefs
We would like to introduce our aluminum castings, which were used to restore the exterior facade relief of a building in the Kansai region.
During the renovation work, it was discovered that the resin relief on the existing exterior wall could not be transplanted, so we were asked if it was possible to quickly manufacture an equivalent product made of cast aluminum.
Here is the existing product.

We were able to create a wooden mold from the actual product and install it without any problems.
Here is the aluminum cast product after installation:

The client chose a bronze paint color, and we were able to deliver a wonderful product that is just as stylish as the one before installation.
Fence duplication
When the shape of this complex fence is read using a 3D scanner, a 3D model with an almost identical shape is created.

This is a fence that we borrowed from a customer and would like to restore.

Scan data
This is 3D scan data of the fence.

The original fence and the duplicated fence
The fence on the left is the original, and the one on the right is a cast aluminum fence that was replicated based on the scanned data.
The resulting fence looks almost identical.
Restoring a broken gate
We manufactured a gate with the same design as the damaged gate.
This gate was 2.5x3m in size and weighed over 100kg, but by scanning each part and converting it into CAD data and correcting it, we were able to manufacture a gate with the same design.

The gate to be restored
One side of the gate was damaged, so the client wanted to install an identical gate to the original.

Scan data
This is the 3D scan data of the undamaged gate on the other side.
Based on this data, a resin mold was created, which made it possible to manufacture the product.
