V-PROCESS

V-process casting is a casting method that does not solidify the casting sand with a solidifying agent, so used sand can be reused. Therefore, compared to previous sand casting methods, it is a revolutionary casting method that produces less industrial waste and achieves low pollution, resource conservation, and energy conservation.

Vacuum Casting Process

V-PROCESS

Setting the forming film

A thin plastic film with high elongation and plastic deformation rate is heated and softened with a heater, and then placed over a wooden mold set on the casting line.

Film Forming

Tiny holes are drilled into the wooden mold, through which air is sucked in to make the film adhere to the shape of the mold, and a mold frame is then set on top.

Sand filling

Fill with finely grained sand and place a protective film over the sand.

Demolding

The air inside the sand mold is sucked out and the mold is then pulled up, creating a reduced pressure casting mold (sand mold).

Match the top and bottom molds

Align the upper and lower molds while maintaining the reduced pressure.

Casting

Pour in the molten aluminum.

Disassembly

When the suction is stopped and the pressure inside the flask is returned to normal, the sand collapses and only the aluminum casting remains, and casting is complete. Since no binder is used for the casting sand, it is in a loose state. This means that there is no need to take apart the mold.
